Even better – they won’t damage your grass or landscaping, and they’ll fly away the next day without a trace.
Celebration Yard Signs wouldn’t be here without Carrie—a woman with a passion for surprising others and making special days even better. One afternoon, when thinking of what she could do to surprise a friend for their birthday, Carrie came up with the perfect idea.
“I was driving along, thinking about what I could do to put a smile on their face, and I happened to pass a house that had a sign in the yard announcing a birthday party,” Carrie says. “I thought that it would be fun to put my own twist on that idea. Something gently embarrassing, not too loud, but not boring, something perfectly tacky—and flamingos were it!”
The idea was a huge hit, and Carrie began “flocking” the yards of many of her friends and family members on their birthdays. Seeing everyone take such joy in her decorations gave her an idea! “I’ve always wanted to have a small business,” she says. “I love interacting with others—I’m always volunteering for organizations around my town. I thought, ‘how great would it be if I could let others in on the fun front-yard celebrations that my family and I were doing?’” And before she knew it, Celebration Yard Signs was born!
“50th birthdays are my favorite,” she says, “because that was what inspired the business idea.” Carrie had wanted to “flock” her boss’s yard for her 50th, but plastic flamingos were sold out everywhere in town. “We couldn’t figure out how to get it done quickly,” Carrie explains. “I realized that people who are planning parties often don’t have a lot of time to focus on the extra touches, because there’s so much else to do! So, we built our own company that would do just that.”
“The best part is getting videos from people when they realize they have been ‘flocked’ – I’ve seen some hilarious (and heartwarming!) reactions!” says Carrie. “I have always loved planning for surprise parties,” she says, “and with Celebration Yard signs, I get to help people do that every single day!”

A Flamingo Celebration is a surprise flamingo yard display set up in somebody’s yard as a funny, unique gift to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, retirement, or any other special occasion. We flock the yard with fun, colorful pink plastic birds after dark so when the they wake up there is a surprise waiting for them!
You can shop for a Flamingo celebration by simply clicking “book now”! Select your date, enter the address, and pay all online! The process usually takes less than 5 minutes.
Our crews have lots of experience and arrive after dark. They are quiet and quick. Barking dogs at the residence can alert the recipient, so if someone at the home is “in on it,” they may be able to keep the dog in a spot overnight where it will not wake up the special recipient.

All sales are final. Please make your decision before booking your yard display. In case of emergency, we can reschedule your delivery for a different day with 24 hours advance notice at no additional charge.

Currently, we offer one package of flamingos with a personalized 2’x3’ “A-frame” sign.
A Standard Package includes a flock of approximately 40 flamingos and one 2’×3’ “A-frame” sign with 5 lines (8 characters including spaces per line for a total of 56 characters) of text for the personal message.
Approximately 35-50 flamingos are included for all flockings. Our crew determines the best layout and balance for each yard.
Yes, the message sign is dependent on the type of display. Our typical sign is a 2’×3’ “A-frame” sign with 5 lines for your message, and each line can hold 8 letters, including spaces.
As long as it is family-friendly 🙂 and fits within the sign limitations (5 lines of 8 characters per line, including spaces), we can put it on the sign. If we have questions, we will reach out to you.
We usually write “You’ve Been Flocked” on the back of the sign as friendly surprise for the recipient. If you prefer to not have this written just let us know in the “Special Instructions” section when booking.
Each display has a starting price, but full rental prices are determined by additional services that might be added to enhance the experience. A Standard Package starts at $97.00 plus any additional services added by you.

Yes. If there is a 24-hour guard, you will need to advise them we will be arriving for both delivery and pickup. If there is not guard at night, then we will need the gate code to enter. If the address does not exist, or it is a gated community we cannot get into, we will not be able to make the delivery. We will attempt to contact you and if unable to reach you, or a suitable solution cannot be reached, we will not be able to setup the display; there will be no refund given. We will of course try our best, but climbing over 8′ walls into secured areas isn’t something we can do…legally, at least 😉
We deliver the displays after sundown, usually between 9:00 p.m. and midnight. We pick up the displays after 6:00 p.m. Additional days can be added for an extra charge based on availability.
Celebrations can be ordered any time, from one day in advance to one year in advance!
Yes, there is a $50 surcharge to go during the day, because our crews usually work at night and not during the day. We would need to make a special trip for that delivery. Please contact us directly at 1-888-257-6257 so we can set it up.
Yes. We love making people happy, and we love delivering a surprise that will make people happy! If there is dangerously bad weather, or any issue that may be problematic, we will contact you directly.
